1/WHAT IS LAB'CARAÏBES ?
As part of the 4th edition of the NEW REGARDS FILM FESTIVAL in Guadeloupe, the Cinémas d'Ici et d'Ailleurs Association organises LAB 'Caraïbes, an incubator of digital documentary projects of web-series type. A call for projects will allow a maximum of 6 projects to receive support for innovative development and a personalised follow-up by two experts from April 21 to 23, 2020 in Guadeloupe.
Goals
The explosion of platforms and content on social networks opens up new opportunities for documentary writing. Designed natively for the web, these emerging formats are intended to renew storytelling and reach new audiences.
Lab’Caraïbes aims to explore these new documentary storytelling areas by drawing on talents from the French-speaking Caribbean region.
For three days, the experts will accompany the authors on the issues of construction, narration, format as well as on the production of their content.
Innovate, reveal, transmit define the DNA of Lab’Caraïbes.
